exceptional early 1880's original antique american interior residential chicago stained glass window salvaged from a victorian cottage demolished long ago. the largely intact window is comprised of variegated cathedral hammered glass, with a centrally located floral motif flanked by a unique "crazy quilt" pattern. multi-colored jewels of various sizes are used for added accent. the original wood sash frame remains structurally sound and stable. the window was likely fabricated by the wells glass company, chicago, il. some damage evident. measures 36 x 21 inches.
