stationary american vintage medical depression era hospital operating or examination room sterilizer and supply cabinet designed and fabricated by the frank s. betz company, hammond, ind. the refinished cabinet contains a fixed angled metal bracket or support stand protruding from the right side. a stainless steel sterilizer unit (long since removed) would have been mounted within the raised edge tray. the cabinet tabletop is comprised of cold-rolled iron or steel with the original black porcelain or vitreous enameled "sani" finish in great overall condition. the single pull-out drawer and oversized cabinet door retain the original black bakelite streamlined style handles. the brushed and sanded metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the three-sided guardrail is tightly affixed to the sides of the cabinet. cabinet measures 20 x 16 x 30 inches, extension measures 6 1/2 x 16 inches
