all original early 20th century american antique industrial reinforced heavy gauge high carbon steel adjustable height stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool co., inc., otsego, mich. the riveted joint factory machinist stool contains a plurality of flat bar steel stretchers for added support and stability. the flared legs contain inward-turned ball feet - a distinctive characteristic or feature of the angle steel stool company. the original solid oak wood revolving seat has been refinished. the solid threaded steel rod or spindle supporting the seat moves up and down with ease. the circular-shaped perforated "faucet" style handle and original set screw (both used to adjust and lock the seat height in place) are original and fully functional. the four-legged base has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. seat diameter measures 14 1/2 inches, base of legs measures 19 x 19 inches and the height ranges from 24 - 31 inches.
