well-maintained 19th century exterior pine wood residential entrance door salvaged from a pre-chicago fire residence or brick victorian cottage demolished long ago. the single door features a unique protruding keystone resting above an arch top opening containing a pane of clear glass. the single raised panel is outlined in grooved molding with "bullseye" rosette blocks. the fluted or grooved pilasters flanking the arched opening are topped with simple, yet elegant finials. the pine wood door was likely fabricated by or for the cronkhite & herren co., chicago, il. the interior side of the door retains the original "faux" wood grain paint finish. two matching doors available. measures 32 x 1 1/2 x 79 inches.
