19th century antique american ornamental cast bronze interior residential pocket door escutcheon or backplate designed and fabricated by the nashua lock company, nashua, nh. the single backplate does retain a portion of the original baked black enameled inlay used to accentuate the design pattern. the pocket door handle contains four screw holes for mounting flush against the pocket door. measures 2 1/4 x 5/8 x 5 3/4 inches.
