heavy duty oversized american vintage industrial solid rock hard maple wood table top constructed by notable butcher block maker, john boos & co., effingham, il. the thick slab of wood has been lightly cleaned, but not refinished. the surface patina provides added visual character. the iron pipe base was removed long ago. the butcher block top is structurally sound and stable. only one available in this size and/or configuration. the tabletop was salvaged from a chicago tool and die factory. measures 46 1/2 x 3 x 30 inches.
