c. 1930's american vintage medical hospital examination room supply cabinet fabricated by the simmons manufacturing co., kenosha, wi. the freestanding cabinet contains a single pull-out drawer with circular drawer pull containing a recessed center. the bottom compartment consists of a single hinged swing-out door concealing a spacious interior, divided by a folded steel shelf. the streamlined style vertical drawer pull is original to the cabinet. the tabletop is comprised largely of a wood composite with uniform black enameled finish. the exterior has been thoroughly brushed and treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 20 x 16 x 35 inches.
