completely refinished well-built c. 1940's american vintage industrial mobile compartmentalized two-drawer "tool stand" supply cart or work station designed and fabricated by lyon metal products inc., aurora, il. the heavily reinforced thick gauge pressed and folded cold-rolled steel mobile supply cabinet contains a mostly uniform brushed metal finish. the tool cart is equipped with two sliding drawers and hinged cabinet doors. the angled steel legs are structurally sound and stable. the "lyon" cabinet was salvaged from a chicago factory. similar cabinets available. the hardened black rubber swivel casters with steel forks are tightly affixed to the legs. the thru-bolt lock provides added security.
