original c. 1930's american antique medical freestanding hospital operating room small instrument sterilizer stand repurposed into a side table or display shelf. the bent tubular steel stand was designed and manufactured by the wilmot castle company, rochester, ny. the sterilizer stand contains a newly added solid cherry wood tabletop and undershelf for additional storage. the existing stainless steel shelves were removed long ago. the base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the bent tubular legs are strong and sturdy. the solid wood shelves have been sanded and sealed.
