all original and well-built late 19th century remarkable interior residential hinged leaded glass transom window possibly fabricated by or for the foster-munger company, chicago, il. the reinforced transom window features a repeating pattern consisting of interlocking or overlapping ellipses, comprised of thick lead caming and all-beveled edge glass segments. the original window sash frame is made of solid quartered oak wood with intact stained finish on both sides. great overall condition with no breaks or cracks in any of the plate glass segments. exceptional both in simplicity of the design and execution of the materials. only one available. window frame measurements measure 40 inches x 2 inches x 18 inches, transom without frame measures 13 1/2 inches x 35 1/2 inches.
