very well-built c. 1920's original and completely intact lightweight bent and folded steel riveted joint quart size bottle crate with a brushed and sealed finish. the exact fabricator is not known. the carrying crate was likely used for handling borden or possibly the west side dairy company bottles. the skeletal metal frame is fastened together with riveted joints throughout. the unique stationary top handle contains a distinctive tightly wound coiled steel handle for added durability. great overall condition. measures 17 x 9 x 11 3/4 inches.
