unique and unusual late 1940's vintage american industrial heavily modified mobile factory cart salvaged from a recently shuttered specialty metal office furniture factory, located in chicago, il. the cart is supported by opposed bent tubular steel u-shaped legs with original oversized swivel casters. the cabinet contains steel metal mesh against the sides. the front side of the cabinet has a single drop-down door with lockable hasp to secure the contents within. the top of the cabinet features two open-ended compartments constructed from sheet metal. the left side has three matching oversized double hooks with ball finials. the right side contains an additional bent tubular steel handle welded against the existing one. the mobile workstation ans/or cabinet has been brushed down to bare metal and treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 34 x 16 x 37 inches.
