well-maintained american depression era single-sided cast bronze ventilation grille likely salvaged from a stock exchange elevator door. the original nickel-plated finish remains in excellent overall condition. the art deco ventilation grille features a centrally located bundled wheat motif within an octagonal-shaped plaque surrounded by a border consisting of simple geometric shapes. the exact building from which the diminutive grille was salvaged is currently being researched. the metal foundry or fabricator is not known. 9.25 x 6.75"
