all original and heavily worn mobile "tom's toasted peanuts" product display cabinet with fully functional single hinged door with slanted front. the pressed and folded steel cabinet has been lightly cleaned, but the weathered advertising has been left untouched. the distressed enameled cabinet move freely on four swivel casters. the cabinet's interior contains multiple shelves for displaying bags of peanuts. in 1925, tom huston founded "tom's roasted peanuts", and began selling his peanuts for a nickel a bag. within two years, tom's peanuts were being sold around the country generating millions in sales. however, due to unpaid notes huston lost the company to the bank. in 1932, walter richards bought tom's company from the bank and took the company public. nice overall wear and tear. fully functional and free from damage. measures 19 x 14 x 40 inches.
