impressive original vintage american industrial oversized side table or console featuring a visually striking old growth poplar wood slab top accentuated with walnut wood butterfly joints. the painstakingly refinished solid slab wood tabletop is supported by matching c. 1920's art deco "skyscraper" style heavy cast iron machine bases designed and fabricated by the product machine co., bridgeport, conn. the solid and sturdy iron bases have been refinished and treated with a clear coat finish. the repurposed console is ready for immediate installation. the table and bases can be disassembled for transport purposes. measures 70 x 24 x 30 inches.
