unique american depression era industrial hand-painted heavy gauge steel "don't move (train) engine" cautionary sign likely mounted on or around the freight car or locomotive being serviced. the vintage sign is comprised of galvanized steel, with original bright orange lettering against a blue paint background. the sign contains the original s-hook (originally fastened to a long chain). surface wear consistent with age. salvaged from an old chicago train yard.
