diminutive original late 1930's american industrial four-legged "ot-steel" canning factory riveted joint angled steel sawhorse repurposed into a side table or console with a newly added rough cut old growth poplar wood slab top. the refinished flared-legged base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the sawhorse is reinforced with cross-bracing or angled stretchers attached to each of the legs and underside of the base. the solid poplar wood slab has been planed down, sanded and treated with a clear coat finish. measures 37 3/4 x 12 x 29 inches.
