c. 1930's american depression era industrial heavy gauge cold-rolled furniture sheet steel mail clerk stationary desk salvaged from the kokomo, indiana post office. the four-legged desk contains four structurally sound and sturdy angled steel legs. the right side of the desk contains a module of equally-sized sliding drawers with original pressed steel handles or drawer pulls. the original pull-out typewriter tray remains intact. the left side is equipped with a long and narrow single pull-out drawer with two matching handles. the folded and pressed steel tabletop offers ample work space for use in a variety of settings. the brushed metal finish has been treated with a clear coat lacquer. the desk was fabricated by the hubeny brothers, roselle, nj. measures 42 x 26 x 30 inches.
