refinished unique custom-built factory machinist articulating arm floor lamp fabricated in part by the fostoria pressed steel co., fostoria, oh. the factory machine shop task lamp contains a welded joint custom stand comprised of heavy gauge tubular steel pipe affixed to a weighted cast iron base. the lamp is comprised largely of pressed and folded steel with original rolled rim parabola-shaped shade or reflector intact. the three ball and socket joints are in great working condition. the brass key or paddle switch socket is original and intact. the lamp has been thoroughly brushed to bare metal and treated with a clear coat lacquer. the shade measures approximately 7 inches in diameter. the height measures approximately 65 inches.
