solidly constructed all original c. 1920's or early 1930's antique american industrial depression era freestanding "nuts and bolts" compartmentalized rack likely designed and fabricated by the lyon metallic manufacturing company, aurora, ills. the all-metal display rack contains an old red paint finish with surface wear and tear consistent with age. the multi-tiered rack contains long and narrow hoppers with stationary dividers. the frame is comprised of cold-rolled steel with folded front edges and angled shape that corresponds with the depth of the rows of bins. the hardware store display is both rigid and and structurally sound. measures 41 x 15 x 52 inches at the widest points.
