highly sought after early 20th century american antique industrial refinished cold-rolled iron oversized factory pendant light fixture designed and fabricated by or for the general electric company, schenectady, ny. the cylindrical-shaped socket housing retains the original white porcelain or ceramic mogul socket rewired with period appropriate lamp cord. the two porcelain insulators are free from damage. the exterior mounting apparatus, including cotter pin, iron link and bracket remain intact. the faceted bowl-shaped reflector or shade retains the original sectional silver-plated glass mirrors fastened tightly in place. salvaged from a chicago factory building undergoing demolition. the exterior has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. only one available. measures 16 in diameter x 26 inches high.
