completely intact c. 1930's original chicago depression era interior bar or tavern swinging door comprised of a darkly stained mahogany wood with a mostly uniform surface finish. the door features a diminutive arch top viewing window or pane, consisting of thick plate glass with a deeply etched, wheel-cut lively sunburst design motif. the original and intact glass pane was designed and fabricated by the pittsburgh plate glass company, pittsburgh, pa. the original bower-barff plated stamped pr pressed steel push plate remains intact. the swivel door hardware remains intact. very unique and unusually designed (likely custom-built) tavern swinging door from the depression era. measures 24 x 1 1/4 x 79 inches.
