hard to find c. 1930's american depression era original and completely intact machine age oversized streamlined tubular steel garment rack designed and fabricated by the american fixture & showcase mfg., co., st. louis, mo. the art deco style mobile clothing rack was salvaged from the basement of an old woolworths store located in chicago. the original polished chrome plated finish remains mostly intact. contains a single cylindrical rod configuration. the fully functional swivel casters are in great working condition. the fittings are accentuated with incised "speed" rings accentuated by a black enameled finish. exceptional art deco store display fixture. multiple racks available from this salvage. measures approximately 60 x 24 x 66 inches.
